The Zork Trilogy Review

In July, I completed Zork  – The Great Underground Empire, which was one of my goals for that month. And yesterday, I finished Zork II: The Wizard of Frobozz and Zork III: The Dungeon Master.

My Review of the Zork trilogy

I did not enjoy playing Zork. I used the Zork walkthroughs from gamefaqs to get through the entirety of the games. I was fortunate to also have maps of the dungeons, though not the mazes, which helped. I did not want to spend the time or energy trying to figure out the puzzles, some of which were down right incomprehensible.

Text adventures are obviously not to everyone taste. What do you think of these games? Leave a comment.
