I started playing Beyond Good & Evil on the PlayStation 2 years ago and finally finished it on the PC. I really enjoyed the game. The concept of the player character having a camera and using it to beat the bad guys really impressed me.
This game has a lot of elements from different genres: combat, stealth, puzzles, races, chases. I enjoyed the races and puzzles the most. The stealth parts often required more patience than I had and some of the looter chases were very hard.
The story was very good as well although some things were left unexplained regarding Jade’s parents. I loved Jade’s relationship with Pey’j.
Thanks to Khyron’s for their Beyond Good & Evil Walkthrough and to CDRiccio for suggesting flipping the controller for the final boss fight.
