Completed serenely beautiful Journey and ABZÛ in September 2021

My Beaten & Completed Games My Game Backlog Progress

I completed JourneyABZÛ, and Might & Magic X – Legacy in September 2021. I also started playing Darwinia, and Halo 3.

Each month I review my progress through my game backlog. This helps me to stay motivated and allows me to make short-term goals.

Backlog Changes 📉📈

To begin with, I added two games to my backlog: Automachef and The Escapists.

However, I completed three games from my backlog, JourneyABZÛ, and Might & Magic X – Legacy.

Overall, my game backlog was reduced by one and I am pleased with my progress this month.

Journey and ABZÛ 👍

It was an interesting experience playing ABZÛ and Journey so closely together because in a lot of ways they are very similar. They are both serenely beautiful and I enjoyed playing them very much.

As I mentioned in my Subnautica review, I did like the underwater theme of ABZÛ, but overall, I liked Journey‘s use of colour in level design better. When I was playing Journey I had a much better sense of when and where I was, while playing ABZÛ, each level felt the same.

Might & Magic X – Legacy

Might & Magic X 🔮⚔🏹🔥

I really enjoyed playing Might & Magic X. I played with a Bladedancer, Rune Lord, Crusader, and Freemage. Playing with guides really helped. I haven’t played The Falcon & The Unicorn DLC yet.

Progress & Milestones 🏆

I have started playing Darwinia and Halo 3. I am about halfway through Darwinia but I have only completed the first mission of Halo 3. In conjunction with playing Halo 3, I have activated my final TrueGaming goal for the Xbox 360 from my goals for the year.

What to Play Next ▶

Next, I will continue playing Darwinia and Halo 3 in October 2021 since they are on my list of games I want to play in 2021. If I’m in a spooky mood I might play Stories Untold or Limbo.

What were your game backlog accomplishments this month? What commitments have you made for next month? Let me know in the comments.
