Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Stopped Working

It is a BIG disappointment to me that I could not finish Neopets: The Darkest Faerie. I had reached the beginning of the fourth and final act when the disc stopped working due to scratches. I tried several options to continue playing, but none of them worked. 😠
