Quickly completed wicked Dark Quest and silly Toonstruck

My Beaten & Completed Games My Game Backlog Progress

I completed two games, Dark Quest and Toonstruck, and made progress in Subnautica, The Talos Principle, and Solitairica in May 2021. As a result, I have remarkably completed seven games in five months.

Each month I review my progress through my game backlog. This helps me to stay motivated and allows me to make short-term goals.

Backlog Changes 📉📈

To begin with, I added five games to my backlog: The Lion’s Song, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, Stellaris, Syberia 3, and Pine.

Dark Quest

Dark Quest

Dark Quest really satisfied my HeroQuest itch. I found it difficult at first but once I understood how to use the items it became easier and very fun. I played through the campaign twice and got 3 stars on every level except the seventh, which only seems to have two. It has a wicked ending.

Here’s the first dungeon walkthrough in my video series for Dark Quest:

Toonstruck

Toonstruck was a fun and silly game. For help, I used The Walkthrough King.

Progress & Milestones 🏆

Granting that I completed two games this month, I also made progress on three other games. I beat five of the champions/decks in Solitairica on normal, Warrior, Monk, Paladin, Rogue, Wizard. And I have begun playing the Bard deck. In contrast, progress on Subnautica has slowed, as I usually only play it when I am listening to something else. And I lost my Seamoth again! 😒

Lastly, I played The Talos Principle until I was about two-thirds through, but in all honesty, I needed a break so I switched to Toonstruck.

What to Play Next

On the whole, I am interested to continue playing Solitairica and The Talos Principle in June 2021. I might take a break from Subnautica. If I get them done early I might move on to The Guild, Knights and Merchants, or Journey from my list of games I want to play in 2021. I have also been preparing a list of adventure games that I can play quickly.
